The Louisville Slugger Museum is great fun whether you're a baseball fan or not.  Just finding out and watching how baseball bats are made is facinating.  It's a great family outing and fine place for a family portrait with everyone sitting in the enormous baseball glove!  There are great hands-on exhibits to try.  Try feeling what it's like to have a real major league fast ball pitched to you.  As a souvenir, you'll receive your own miniature bat!

Louisville Slugger Museum & Factory is located on the corner of 8th Street and Main Street in the heart of downtown Louisville’s historic West Main district.  Look for the world’s tallest bat!  A city owned parking garage is located behind the museum on 8th Street and some street parking (free on the weekends!) is available as well.
